it’s so annoying trying to find posts like this that aren’t infested with terfs but womanhood really is inherently traumatizing. i feel so detached from my own womanhood sometimes because it just wears me out to be unable to exist peacefully without compulsively trying to make myself easier to digest for other people. it feels like some part of me is always up for consumption…there’s always some part of me to be picked apart, fetishized, or suppressed. it makes me genuinely tired and although i know these experiences aren’t unique it’s still such an alienating and lonesome feeling sometimes. i wish girls could just be left alone so we could exist peacefully without constantly feeling like we’re under a magnifying glass 😐
